MOVE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!

A tap used in the home has a regulator that controls the hot or cold water. For the single regulator it takes just a shift; its either u move it to the left or to right depending on what you want. But notice that when you move it, it changes gradually from hot to cold or vice versa.

There's usually a fine line between a hot and vibrant christian and a lukewarm christian. You don't just become lukewarm all of a sudden; its gradual. Its like a movement but downward sloping. First, you no longer love praying or studying the word its more like a burden to you. The joy of being in God's presence has goes sour. When you're in church during praise and worship, you're super active but when the sermon begins you dose off while the ushers struggle to keep you awake. The things of God generally are a bore to you(Love of the world rather than the things of God). You struggle with your quiet time and the sight of fervent Christians disgust you because in your heart, their own is becoming too much. Insensitive to sin!

What makes that man or woman strong for the Lord are the direct opposite of a lukewarm person. And remember that for a neither hot nor cold person, God will spew out of His mouth(Rev 3:16).To be free from lukewarmness, we first need to realize that we've gone cold and need the intervention of God. Rebuild your altar; prayer is talking to God and its in communicating that intimacy is built. Pray earnestly and fervently so that God will open your eyes to where you must have missed it. Get close to God's word; don't starve your inward man of spiritual food so that though the flesh perish the inward man lives. Also, enjoy the company of God's children; during fellowships be more ready to listen than to speak. Guard your heart and be careful what you feed your eyes with. If you must move, then move in the right direction. The Lord will see us through. Remain Blessed!!!
