LOVE YOURSELF!!

Matthew 22:37-39 summarizes how we ought to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. However if you you're always in the habit of talking yourself down, never seeing yourself as worth anything good, then you'll find it hard loving someone else. Its simply logical.

For example, when you were young as a lady, your relatives molested you, you were raped, beaten, or spoken ill of as a child with your parents constantly saying you'll never make it, if you haven't forgiven yourself and the people involved, you'll have a very hard time appreciating and loving people around you. Its just like the popular saying "baggage in, baggage out"; having constant negative thoughts about yourself will cause you to have a negative outlook towards life.

I pray this day that the grace to love ourselves so that it reflects in our relationship with others the Lord will grant unto us. See yourself now as one made in the image of God and after His likeness. Love yourself, speak good things into your life. Claim and believe God's promises. Be positive; make a conscious effort to do so. Its easy to say negative things but where the hard work comes in is saying positive things knowingly. Love yourself(this is different from selfishness) and you won't find it hard loving others. Apply it this new month and you'll be glad you did. Happy New Month friends! Remain Blessed!!
