MAKE IT WORK!

My friend and I were just talking about a course we decided to take; an elective course. At the beginning, we were in love and optimistic about the course and all that. But as time went on everything we felt for the course began to dwindle and it became tiring and annoying; we wished we could drop the course. But too late/bad for us, it was almost exam period. We couldn't change the course plus we had to complete what we started. We had to study and make it happen; we had no choice really.

When we start a relationship, its usually all lovey-dovey. Its like we can't do without the other person in a day. We exhaust all the credit we have just to hear that special someone's voice. We're very enthusiastic about the whole thing. But suddenly and sometimes inevitably, the whole "feelings" begin to drop with time. It doesn't mean you're not interested per se its just that, permit me to say, its no longer 'shacking' you like before. But my dear, the deal has been signed, you've said your vows, God's hands has blessed the union, feeling or no feeling, its forward gear onwards. You just have to make it work and bring back that spice into the relationship. Besides, the course forms( marriage certificate) has been signed; there's no turning back. Remember, God hates divorce.

When love or the whole "mushy-mushy" feelings have faded away, what do we do? First of all, observe and take responsibility; do not expect your spouse to take responsibility for it (shifting blames doesn't cut it). Make an effort! Also, the place of God cannot be overruled. The love of God never grows cold, this implies that the closer you both ǎ̜̣̍®ε̲̣̣̣ to God, the more in love you'll be. Its like a triangle! If the Love of God is spread abroad in your heart, it will have a spillover effect on every area of your life.
Your personal effort in looking appealing( let all things be done in moderation; for those in courtship I don't mean seduce your partner) and presentable is also a good idea but note that if the hedge is broken, the serpent will come in and bite. If you find a loophole in that godly relationship, then check up your 'altar'. Things will always be in "top-gear" if God is factored in. Remain Blessed!!
