DRESS UP

Usually when we see an elderly person dressed indecently, we tend to say "doesn't this person know they're married or old already"? It almost seems like an eye sore for someone who is married and elderly to dress in a certain way...

But I don't think it should be applicable to the old or married alone; its invariably applicable to every young person. Being young and vibrant isn't a licence for nudity. The same way it looks very inappropriate for a married or an old individual so it is for the young.....no exceptions!

Cover up appropriately. An opened tin or wrap in a grocery store will have its originality doubted. Remain Blessed!!!

  2. The need to dress decently cannot be overemphasized. We complain that men are unfaithful and they're are filled with lust, but do we ever think that we might be contributing to it in one way or the other? Besides, who are they unfaithful with, men like them or women? when all they see are fleshy parts of our bodies from morning to night, the devil captures such images in their minds and replays it over and over again (this is not to justify unfaithfulness.....self-control is a fruit of the spirit to be desired). If only we can live beyond thinking about ourselves alone and consider the 'weak' amongst us. Do not fall for the idea that righteousness has to do with the heart alone because the state of the heart should affect our outward appearance too. Do not cause others to fall into sin, let your moderation be known to all men. remain blessed!

    1. Very much so, Sister. What I find prevalent among us Christians of today is what appears to be a phenomenon of being trapped in the mode of "I'm flesh and blood, and so it's no wonder I'm unable to live the way I ought to." But, as you rightly offered, walking in the Spirit is an insurance against all these fleshly tendencies. May God help us.
