How do we believe who we are; because our parents say so? How is it that we intuitively know they're our parents hence we shout from our crib as a child "dada", "mama". When we came into this world, our parents identified themselves as our mum and dad and we believed. Infact, they called us by a name and we accepted and we've lived by that name all our lives, why? Why didn't we doubt? We might never understand the depth of their love till we someday become parents..
The reason can't be explained; its just a knowing, a connection placed within us by our Lord. So has God placed a longing and an intimate desire for a relationship with Him. And that is why even when the world's treasures and pleasures have been acquired, we still feel like a vacuum needs to be filled. There's nothing like enjoying an intimate relationship with our father.......I could go on and on; this is one relationship that a cute man and gorgeous lady can't give you..........its simply divine.
The same way we just know dad and mum are our parents is more than the way we should hold on to the promises of Lord Jesus whose smile can erase every pain and heal us. The same way God's words were fulfilled to the saints gone by, so will He fulfill every word He has said to you and me. He cares...let not your faith be weak. Have a great weekend! Remain blessed!!!
