BUT FOR HIS PLEAS....

Imagine that for the past two hours, mummy and your sisters have been in the kitchen trying to fix dinner. And because you couldn't wait anymore, you decided to take some snacks in the fridge to suppress the hunger pangs. Finally, when mummy comes to serve the food, you eat not because you're super hungry but because you consider all the stress they went through in the kitchen.

It is not that God hasn't had enough of all the atrocities that take place around the world; it is not because His word about coming back again isn't for real; it goes beyond that. The reason His only Son died, was to save the world; the world which has turned their back against Him, the death of His Son as well as His none stop pleadings for yet another chance for sinners to be saved, are few reasons why the trumpet is yet to sound. Just like how mums plead with the household to please bear with her and eat after all the hardwork, even more does Jesus plead on our behalf for mercy-to hold on a bit and give sinners a little more chance to give their lives to Him. 

This goes without saying that indeed we are in the era of grace and let all who have ears hears what the Spirit of God is saying. All things are in top gear for the coming of the Lord, and to think that it could happen in a twinkle of an eye is the more reason why one has to watch with soberness. Tap into the grace if you're still far from surrendering all at the foot of the cross. Tomorrow might be too late! Hebrews 9:27: 'for it is appointed unto man once to die, and after that judgement.'
