A fence is built as a form of defense, for security reasons among other things. That you were not robbed years,months, weeks or days ago, does not mean that you have to pull down the fence of your home; rather, it remains constant. The best you can do about it is to improve it by increasing the length or incorporating modern security gadgets.
Prayer is like a fence used to guard and ward off evil and even though in the physical it appears as though no evil has taken place in your life, you don't stop praying. Praying should continue until we bid this world goodbye. All we can do is improve on our prayer lives, we don't quit it! You can't afford to stop now!
