LONG BEFORE.....

Long before we became born again or ever sinned, God, like we know, sent His only begotten Son to die for us who forgave us before He went to the cross. Since we are working towards perfection, it is vital that we learn and imbibe the nature of forgiving like He did. How? Can we forgive in our relationships long before any wrong is done to us? How practical and feasible is it?

I think it doesn't rule out the fact that we're or will be hurt as the case may be but it means creating allowance in our hearts that hurt are unavoidable because we are humans, and then CONSCIOUSLY decide to forgive even before its occurrence. It also does not intuitively mean that we forget the associated pain because we're not God but it means admitting that we're hurt and still moving on with the individual(s) concerned inspite of it all. Forgiveness might not necessarily be for people but to be free and at peace. It might hurt soo deep, but please do let it go! Remain Blessed!!!

  1. Very good article. Forgivness and learning to let go, especially before being hurt, is one of the cornerstones of personal peace and sustainable relationships. Does more good to the forgiver than the forgiven. It's something we must covet and pursue. Keep it up.
