GEN 22:2

From the verse above, the idea was like we all know, to test Abraham's allegiance- his love for God over his son.Behind every test is a training; God is not necessarily being hard on us.Every God-driven test is like one done in a controlled environment-it has been designed never to go out of hand.

It is not enough to know that we're being tested but to know the reason behind it and the associated knowledge to acquire. Jesus was being tempted of the devil, not just to show us that He too went through temptations but to prepare Him further for the tests the Pharisees and Sadducees will pose at Him.

Lecturers don't test or examine us because they do not know the answers to the question being asked, but rather to know what we've learnt during the course of teaching. And though what we want is to pass the exams, the other thing we learn though it may seem irrelevant is the ability to read, understand, retain and retrieve from our brains.

For the children of Israel in the wilderness, God told them not to store up manna. HE was teaching them to obey rules but beyond obedience, the Lord was teaching them discipline, teaching them to be content and to avoid gluttony.

Tests aren't designed to make you feel hurt but to teach us to be patient-longsuffering. Also, because failing isn't an option (atleast not a good one), we learn to stay up at night, make friends with people who might know better than we do. That's what tests and trials do- they teach us to become better.

The question is, what is the language of your test? What is God trying to teach you, because that is the whole essence in the end. Have a fulfilled week and Remain Blessed!!!
